Bruce R. Speca is Head of the Portfolio Solutions Group (PSG) at MFC Global Investment Management (MFC GIM). Under Bruce's leadership, PSG is responsible for the development and growth of MFC Global Investment Management's asset allocation solutions for individual and institutional investors globally.

Prior to joining MFC GIM, Bruce was Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of John Hancock Investment Management Services where he was responsible for all asset manager relationships including the selection, monitoring and ongoing review of the investment strategies offered in mutual funds, retirement plans, college savings, variable annuities and variable life insurance.

Previously, Bruce was responsible for product development and market research, marketing promotion, public relations, and advertising in his role as Senior Managing Director for Pioneer Investment Management. Bruce also held positions as president of a mutual fund start-up and President and CEO of the New England Funds (now Natixis Funds), where he worked for over 15 years.

Bruce is very active as a board member of Mutual Funds Against Cancer, one of the industry's leading advocates in the fight against cancer. He received his MBA from the University of Chicago and his BS, Magna cum laude in Marketing from Boston College.
