Frederic Corwin, Jr. directs the Financial Management team for G&SFP, including the customer accounting and controls units. Mr. Corwin's responsibilities involve financial results, planning projections, reserve valuations, asset adequacy testing, customer accounting, support for projection systems, and information for management. His experience includes eighteen years of working with Group Pension products, including responsibility for actuarial research, pricing, and underwriting policy on GICs and single premium annuities.
Mr. Corwin earned a B.A. in Mathematics from Williams College and a M.S. in Actuarial Science from Northeastern University. He is a contributing author to "Pricing the Guaranteed Investment Contract," a chapter in the second edition of Guaranteed Investment Contracts: Risk Analysis and Portfolio Strategies and is a member of the Society of Actuaries and the American Academy of Actuaries.
